Doctors and experts emphasize that physical activity is very important also in the period when most of the time we spend among the four walls. In order to meet the recommendations of specialists, we have prepared for you some interesting ideas for home training that will be suitable for the whole family. Thanks to these simple exercise, you will take care of your body and mind, but most of all you will have a great time. To work!
Home Exercise Ideas:
Classic Training
Show the kids that exercise is fun and make everyday activities become a part of your blood.
Use The Weight Of The Children
You don’t need dumbbells to make your training more effective! You can do squats or lunges holding your little one in your arms while taking care to exercise in a child-safe manner. Dad can do push-ups with the baby on his back or lift the toddler like a barbell. Attention! Children may weigh more than the dumbbells you usually reach with word dumbbells. So pay more attention to correct posture while exercising.
Let The Children Help
Babies can help you exercise by counting your reps or holding your feet while you do sit-ups. Maybe you can even steal a kiss? Then you can switch – take the role of a personal trainer and instruct the child on how to properly perform this exercise.
Home Championship
To motivate the children (and yourself) even more, organize a competition. Who will do the most push-ups? Who will jump rope the longest? Remember about the rewards! You can make an agreement that the winner will choose the film for the evening.
Fitness Challenge
There are many 10 or 30 day challenges on the Internet. Now’s a good time to finally take on one of them!
For example, you can try your hand at the 30-day plank or high chair challenge. Start with 10 seconds, then increase your exercise for 5 seconds each day.
Fun Is Essential
Make physical activity natural. If you take daily exercise as fun, you won’t feel so tired.
An Obstacle Course
Have an obstacle course at home. Set up chairs and pillows that you will be avoiding. Use the tables under which you will crawl, scatter the balls you will jump over. Remember to keep safe distances between obstacles and make sure there is enough space around. You can race against the clock, shoot videos and have fun doing it.
Ping-Pong
You don’t need a special table to play ping-pong. All you need is a desk, plastic cups that will serve as a net, and small cutting boards that will replace classic trays.
Bucket Throw
Organize a plastic bucket or bowl to throw the ball into (if you don’t have a ball, take a small soft toy or a stuffed bag). Whoever hits with the fewest throws wins! It is great fun for the whole family, especially for younger children.
“Penalty” Push-ups And Squats
It’s not about punishing, it’s about having fun. Determine the “keyword” among yourselves. Everyone who uses it needs to do 10 push-ups or squats. Such a word could be, for example, “television”, “drinking”, “room” or anything else.
